Woodard is delighted to announce that the King Solomon International Business School, Birmingham, which is opening its doors for the first time in September 2015, has become a member of the Woodard family as an affiliated school.
The school’s aim is to provide a high quality academic international education, underpinned by a strong Christian ethos, to prepare young people to take their place in the modern business world and help them develop into well rounded, achieving and caring individuals who fulfil their full potential and actively contribute to the well-being of others. King Solomon International Business School caters for children aged 4-19 through our Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form provision. The school welcomes all children, whatever their faith. It specialises in international business and enterprise and works closely with international businesses to ensure that students develop skills which are aligned to the changing business needs of the 21st century. The school will equip students with the knowledge and skills to be able to effectively live, work and trade in the global economy. The personalised teaching and learning approach at King Solomon International Business School will ensure that no child is left behind. The school will be exemplary for achieving academic excellence and the character development of its students.
Principal, Michelle Newman, said “King Solomon International Business School, a brand new city-wide catchment free school, is delighted to be affiliated to the Woodard group. We are focused on providing our students with an international school style of education, where international business is at the core of our operations. Students will learn Mandarin and French from the Early Years setting, for example, and this will be developed year on year as students move through the school. Students will be expected to form active businesses and be accountable for profits and losses made as well as selling goods and services and ‘pitching’ to our impressive array of international business partners amongst other focused enterprising activities. Our school vision is for all of our students to have access to an outstanding level of education underpinned by a strong character development programme seeking to promote responsibility and respect for all our students within a strong Christian ethos. We look forward to welcoming you to our school in the near future”.
