It has been a busy term for King’s Hall pupil Charlotte Ambler, and this looks to continue over the coming weeks. The Year 6 pupil recently performed in the Spring Concert at Exeter Cathedral with the Devon Youth Symphony Orchestra (DYSO), with whom she plays cello, and now looks forward to supporting local indie band The Kaizens along with the orchestra at a concert next month.

Towards the end of the summer, Charlotte will also be playing the French horn with the National Children’s Orchestra, and will be playing one of her own piano compositions in the Taunton Festival Gala Concert.

Head of Music at King’s Hall, Gareth Dayus-Jones said: “What an incredible couple of months it has been for Charlotte. Earlier this year she took part in a six-day space camp at the US Space and Rocket Centre, and now she is touring the South West with up-and-coming bands. We couldn’t be more proud.”
