Congratulations go to Denstone College old boy Harvey Hosein on signing a two year contract with Derbyshire, where he will now remain until the end of the 2020 season. Since his debut with Derbyshire in 2014, Harvey has scored 1,259 first-class runs, with a top score of 108. In the Specsavers County Championship he averages 29.97 runs, having tucked under his belt one century, nine half-centuries and 75 catches behind the stumps.
Harvey has also appeared in four List A matches and five Twenty20 games for Derbyshire.
Harvey left Denstone College in 2014 having represented the school with distinction both on the pitch and off. Simon Guy, Director of Cricket Performance at the College, said “Harvey clearly has a very bright future in Cricket”.
