Denstone College was delighted to welcome back Old Denstonian, Jeremy Snape and his family on Saturday 6 May. Jeremy spent a morning at the College to open the new cricket facilities which include a state of the art all weather facility and new nets. A member of the College from 1987 until 1991, Jeremy played 10 One Day Internationals for England as well as 121 First Class matches for Northamptonshire and Gloucestershire. He is now a world renowned sports psychologist currently working with Eddie Jones’ England Rugby Team having spent time in the past with the Premier League Managers Association and South Africa Cricket. He also led a seminar for members of the College’s Dedicated Athlete Scheme whilst here, talking to pupils about motivation and sports psychology.

The College has made a significant six figure investment in cricket over the winter and this now bearing fruit with some excellent results.
